Design and Functionality: Glass moulding techniques are widely used in the production of lighting systems. In recognising design as a key factor, we have established partnerships with leading “creators” and manufacturers in the "indoor Lighting + outdoor Lighting" sectors. They appreciate our glass manufacturing expertise and the quality of our glass, not only for its brilliance but also for its excellent physical and chemical properties (good thermal shock and/or weather resistance). These make it the ideal solution for urban or "architectural lighting applications", where light is used to underline the beauty of our architectural heritage.
Special effects and technical features like something out of the Arabian Nights: Glass can be finished so that it diffuses a perfect light, producing striking special effects. For entertainment and stage lightinginstallations, our prismatic lenses (pebble, Fresnel, PAR, …) and refractors are used on stages and sets around the world. Dichroic coatings can be used to produce partial transparency and break the light beams up. Printed glass is thus transformed into a technical device to become an interactive filter and UV refractor for use in therapeutic and beauty care applications. Water to mineral: Glass is the ideal material for the objects and accessories used in body-care facilities and/or the home. Spirits and perfume – the importance of the bottle:With its large-capacity bottles (1.5 litres and more), the Turin factory expresses its full potential as the SEVES Group's Special Glass Division. Its expertise is reflected in the precious decanters and 'Factices' the oversized replicas of perfume bottles used for store displays. |
